Knowledge

The book of Daniel fascinates me, but as I look at Daniel 10 I remembered one of my greatest fears in my walk with Christ. I fear I am not smart enough or competent enough to understand and share the Word of God with others. My thoughts, or that of the enemy whispering in my ear, drift to the fact that I am a young Christian. I will never have enough time to catch up and be useful to God.

Daniel 10:12, "Do not be afraid Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard and I have come in response to them."

Proverbs 2:3-5 "If you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God."

It is never to late for God to use us. The Word is God's love letter to us and His instruction manuel to gaining wisdom and understanding. Proverbs 2:10 says, "For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul." The NLT says wisdom will bring "joy" to your life.

So many lost souls in our country our unsatisfied and searching for joy. The masses are seeking it out in ever facet of our Babylonian society. They so desperately want to fill that "God spot". I know personally...it wasn't five years ago I was searching too. Look at Oprah's new class on "New Age Christ". I pray for Oprah's eyes to be opened so she can see the real Jesus Christ. I also pray for her followers...my heart aches for them. Hosea 4:6 says "my people were destroyed from lack of knowledge." Brothers and sisters in Christ, I implore you take up your sword against Satan and arm yourself with God's Word. Do not be deceived!!!

Weekend in the Hospital

Kade was admitted Friday afternoon to the hospital with RSV. His oxygen levels were low and his wheezing was getting worse. Saturday morning at 3:30 a.m. they came in to insert an IV because he was dehydrated. The nurse told us to be prepared because sometimes it takes 4-5 times to stick a baby, especially a chubby one. Ronnie and I both began praying. I prayed in the name of Jesus that it would only take one time. As they were prepping Kade I had to turn away. I couldn't watch them stick my baby with a needle. My thoughts turned to Jesus before they hung him on the cross. To think God gave His only Son, his sweet baby, to be beaten just for me. I was overcome with feelings of thankfulness. I started singing, "He is worthy to be praised" in my head. I heard the nurse say, "I can't believe it." I turned around expecting to see somthing bad, but by the grace of God I saw his IV in and going. The nurse said, "I can count on one hand how many babies I have stuck the first time in my twenty plus years of nursing." Ronnie said, "I am not surprised. I was praying." It just amazed me at how powerful, steadfast, and prompt our God is. Kade was released Sunday morning, and we are home in isolation now. My friends in Levelland have been so good to us...helping us out during this time. Thanks to all of them! They are our family...we are so blessed! Thanks go out to Ronnie's parents as well. They came Friday afternoon to keep Drew. Please be in prayer for my father-in-law. He is having trouble adjusting to his new blood pressure medicine.

How Great is Our Maker

I THINK THIS IS AMAZING INFO. WHAT AN AMAZING GOD. I WONDER HOW MANY OTHER THINGS HE COULD SHOW US IF WE WOULD LOOK AND LISTEN IN HIS SPIRIT?
A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye...and science shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes. A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four chambers. All of the research shows tomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex. We now know that walnuts help developover 3 dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These food specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.Eggplant, Avocados and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today'sresearch shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? .... It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolyticchemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modernscience has only studied and named about 141 of them).Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of sperm as well to overcome male sterility.Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemicindex of diabetics.Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries. Grapefruits, Oranges, and other citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts. Onions look like body cells. Today's research shows that onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes.

Kade only has three teeth on the bottom. We are a little uneven. I don't know when the fourth tooth will come in. He has the chubbiest teeth. He gets that from my brother, Chad!
