Happy 18 Months Kaders

On Wednesday, my baby will be 18 months old!!!
Kade playing with Kelsey (a friend's girl we kept last week)!!! If you notice he has two babies...he found a clean one in the laundry basket and was overjoyed to have two!!!
I caught Kade snorting...he does this when he's really happy!
Kade playing Peek-A-Boo!

More snorting...look at those teeth.

I've had an outbreak of ulcers in my mouth this week. I have been in a lot of pain, but Ronnie has been so awesome...he took care of the boys all day yesterday.
Drew was "hiding in the jungle"!
Kade's been wearing this hard hat for two days nonstop!
Kade is such a sweetie...I could just eat him. He loves babies. We kept baby Cash last Thursday, and he just held him and patted his back! Kade is also a jokester and flirt. He will come up and look at you out of the corner of his eyes and smile!!! He loves to play with cars and trucks, eat, jump, and dance. When he "dances" he'll pick up one leg (like a Sumo wrestler) and stomp while going in a circle. He loves to run away when you are changing his diaper, and he loves when his Daddy comes home. I was praying last night and I just told the Lord, "Thank you God that out of all the babies in the world you chose to give Kade to Ronnie and me!" I have to say the last few weeks I have tried to cherish every moment with Kade because I know the baby stage is almost over!

The Boat Floated - Praise God!!!

Drew and Ronnie fishin' on the boat at Lake Whitney. It was suppose to rain all day, but after much prayer God let the sun shine for us all day. It was so peaceful. I was reading and the boys were fishing. I was invisioning many trips to come with my three boys on that boat.
My immediate family. Left to right and top to bottom as follows. Drew, Cole and Cayla. Mom, Nana, PawPaw. Cody, Sami, T, Me, Kade, Ronnie. Dad, Bubba, Ronny, and Chad. This reunion is my grandmother's parent's family (Ted and Montie Gallagher from Jayton). My grandmother has three brothers - Bobby Gallagher of Clyde, Tommy Gallagher of Oklahoma, and Gerald Gallagher.
My Paw Paw. His 78th birthday was on the 20th. I can't put into words the love I have for this man. He fought in the Korean war, worked hard all his life to raise three kids, and loves his grandkids. He has always supported me in every decision I've made and loved me unconditionally. I love you Paw Paw!!!
My family participating in the talent show Saturday night. I can't tell you what song they sung because I was laughing at the bell performance!!!
Cayla, my first cousin, loving on Kade. She has such a sweet heart and is an awesome guitar player.
Drew casting his line!

Ronnie, Chad, and Paw Paw!!
My mom's first cousins (Teresa, Carolyn, Elaine, and Anna) singing some type of spittin in the spitoon song...those girls are crazy!!!

My Hubby Can Fix Anything!!!

Ronnie brought His dad's old boat home...the only thing on it that worked was the engine (barely)! He redid the fiberglass, floors, carpet, paint, engine, seats, etc. I can't wait to take it out on the lake this weekend.
The boat project became a neighborhood affair...everyone, even the UPS man, came by to inspect Ronnie's craftsmanship!

Kade helping Daddy and singing, "La, la, la, la!!!" He has cut two molars and has two coming in!!! My baby is getting so big!

Drew loves the boat. During VBS this week, the story was about Moses parting the Sea. Drew told the teacher, "He can go get my boat." LOL
Kade loves Drew's shoes...well, any shoe. He will just wear/carry them anywhere!!!

The boat...Drew told our friend that Ronnie put, "Sprinkles on it!!!" (a.k.a. the glitter flakes in the paint!!!)
Drew's ready for the lake!

Kaders honking the horn!

Kade is doing his fake cry...he wrinkles up his nose and just moans. It is so sad!!! He also wrinkles his nose and snorts when he is happy or laughing. I am trying to catch it on film...no luck yet!
Look at that face...the picture says it all. I know Ronnie is so exhausted. He has put between 250-300 hours into this boat remodel, but his two biggest fans sure are proud of their daddy (a.k.a Ya Ya)!!!
Colossians 3:17, "And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father."

Do you know?

I was doing my Bible Study last night and read about Abraham's bosom in Luke 16:22 and then read Matthew 27:52-53...I had never heard of Abraham's bosom before and thought it was way cool...anyone want to guess what it is?

***Answer - Ephesians 4:8, "This is why it says, 'When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men." Bob Yandian's book "Ephesians- Our Blue Print to Maturity" says that before Jesus' sacrifice, believers had not yet gone to heaven to be in God's presence because of their sin. So where did they go? They went to a paradise called "Abraham's Bosom" in an underworld compartment. Read Luke 16:22. They waited there until Jesus paid the wages of sin with his death and took them to heaven. When they ascended many of them got their old bodies back from the grave, walked in the city of Jerusalem, and died again ascending to heaven. Read Matthew 27:52-53. Who needs to watch TV...this is fascinating.

West Texas Weather

Kade and Drew went swimming at our favorite neighbor's house, Debbie and Royce. They didn't like the water at first, but were splashin' around everywhere before we got out!

We had sand storms off and on all week. Here is a picture Debbie took of her backyard Thursday.

Drew floatin' in the pool. The float kept deflating because last year Drew bit a small hole in it. He was just kicking his legs and swimming all over the place. When Royce got in the pool with us, Drew asked him "How's the water?" He is always cracking me up. Other things he is saying are: "You have fun Mama?", "How's that sound to you?" "Why?" "Wait to me!" "I meed you Mama!" "Mama, do you love Jesus?"
Debbie took these photos...isn't she talented?. I told her she needs to start a business. I know where she can get some kid models for free!! He He!!!
Chelsea is Debbie and Royce's youngest daughter. Their oldest daughter, Kelly, is a NICU nurse in Amarillo and is 16 weeks pregnant. Drew and Kade love Chelsea. She is so sweet to them and a very impressive young lady. She plays basketball for West Texas A&M, works, and managed a 3.5 last semester...but even more impressive- she loves the Lord. I am proud of her and she isn't even my daughter. I pray Drew and Kade will meet and marry a sweet young girl like her one day!!!
Royce and Drew "sestling" on the floor.
Drew playing with his tractor.

Kade went under water and didn't like it at all. Look at that face. He is his daddy's little "mini-me"!
Kade and Mama...He is saying all kind of things: Mama, ZaZa (a.k.a Daddy), Bubba (Drew), hi, ma (more), ball, and is pointing all the time. I even think he said, "I love you" the other day!

Drew and his daddy. Ronnie has been remodeling his dad's old boat, so Drew has been missing him. When Ronnie comes in Drew is his little shadow. Today Ronnie got the boat painted and buffed, and Drew was so proud of it. He told me, "Daddy paint the boat...it's pretty. We gonna go to the big lake...we gonna catch a big fish and eat it."
My little Kaders...how cute is he? I love it! He loves to eat...I thought I'd add that in just in case you are worried about him being malnourished!!!

Other stuff: This week has been crazy. Sunday I got home from our shopping trip, which was absolutely fabulous. I think my favorite parts were: Friday night, four of us stayed up all night laughing our heads off about nothing, Saturday, we shopped at New York & Company and all tried on clothes at the same time, and my new purchases (I never go shopping with money...I love getting new outfits!!!). This weekend my sister-in-law is on a Walk to Emmaus so we've been back and forth to Stanton a few times. I got a call to work the walk this November and I am SO EXCITED!!! Last week I asked God to help me become a serious prayer warrior. Two days later, the director called me and asked me to be on the prayer team for the walk...talk about a quick answer! God is good...all the time!!!!
