Biggest Loser Bloggin' Style Week Two

My turn:
lost 1 pound (would have been more, but the camping trip was hard)
Goal for this week is to try to cut out all the processed foods that just leave me wanting more
I ask for prayer about- a situation going on with my Bible Study class that involves me...I keep reading 2 Corinthians 4:8-10, "(I am) troubled on every side, yet not distressed; (I am) perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, BUT NOT FORSAKEN; cast down but not destroyed. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the LIFE also of Jesus might be made manifest in (my) body."

Verse for the week:
Jeremiah 29:11-12, "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me."
I know we have all read this verse numerous times, but sometimes this journey to get healthy is HARD AND FRUSTRATING!!! It just gives me peace when I remember this specific Word from God!!!
Recipe for the week:
Grilled Fish
One pound of fresh Orange Roughy
4 limes
Chili Powder
Place the fish in a pan and squeeze the juice of 4 limes over it. Dust the fish with the remaining spices, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for one hour. Place fish on a foil square and pull the ends up together. Place on the grill. Let cook for 10 minutes. Serve with fresh corn and/or a baked potato. Mmm!!! Even my hubby LOVES this!!!

Sorry- no fun pictures this week...I am not at my home computer!!! Next week I'll be sure to add tons of 'sparkle'! Ha!

Oh well, let me be the first to comment with bad news.
Goal for the week is to get to exercising, and also keeping a food journal to make me more aware of the choices that I am making. I am still battling this sinus infection and the meds I am taking are making me feel worn out all the time, so that is my request again this week. I ask that you pray for healing and improvement in my energy level, and that I make wise choices when it comes to eating.

-4...wish I could say that it was due to hard work and eating healthy, but the honest truth is that I think it is just because of a new scale! I'll take it though!! he he
Drink more water, less Dr. P.
I have been having lower back pain that has kept me from running in the evenings. I'll go to the chiro this week. Please pray for this to get resolved. I'll be praying for each of you by name. Only God knows all of our needs. Have a blessed week.

First I want to be accountable for my goal last week...was to drink 84oz of water each day...made my goal except on Saturday...too busy to drink ANYTHING! Whoops!!
My goal this week is to walk 4 miles everyday this week and by the end of the week cut the time it takes me by at least 5 minutes.
Prayer requests: I am all of a sudden hit by major car repairs, house repairs and lawyer fees...pray that God increases my finances and meets my needs and helps me to see clearly how to adjust my budget!

Dawn, I love your new layout design! I feel you with pinked out; when I first got pinked out I put it all in our spare bedroom, and then when we had a baby girl, she had no choice but to love pink!

goal: to start excercising (again!) I was sewing a new diaper bag for a friend, but finished on Friday, so plan to use some of my sewing time to workout.
prayer: my husband has been sick for 4 1/2 days; he's an AWFUL patient! I pray that once we go to the doctor tomorrow we will get some good, easy solutions.

I'm praying for all you ladies; keep up the good work!

-2 lbs (by the Grace of God, Who knew I needed encouragement from the scale!)

Drink more water to stay hydrated - and hopefully snack less due to it!

My goal is to stay positive (even though Will is out of town again) and not wallow...Moving always helps me feel better anyway, but I tend to forget it - so today I'm going to get moving by cleaning up our camping stuff, and later this week I'm going to tackle my craft supplies! Pray for me!

It's me margaret.....I did make it to the gym on a HOLIDAY no less. My goal for this week is to get to the gym M-TH... workout at least 4 days a week.My prayer request is that we have safe trips the month of June.....Traveling baseball team gotta love your kids to use so much $$$$ and gas.Have a great week everyone. I am praying for you all.

I have exercised more this week though!

I have stayed the same but I think I am now heading in the right direction.

My goal thi wekk is still to drink more water.

So glad you were able to post while away....goodness, so many of the ladies are doing so well!! For me zero! That's nothing gained but nothing off, either! Not sure where the problem lies but that would be my re-evaluate - especially portions and I might not be eating enough actually (can't believe I just said that)!

Prayer request - my daughter is getting married this weekend! We will be traveling out of town and all that is involved with weddings, etc.

Thanks for sharing your recipes...I've never been much of a fish eater but I really need to add that to my diet. That will be a huge challenge for me!!

Okay, so I am a day late on posting this, but yesterday was hectic. I had a bad week last week, bad emotionally. I was sure that it was not going to be pretty on the scale and I dreaded getting on it. You can imagine how surprised I was when I had lost

3 POUNDS!!! (it must have been the prayers cause traveling isn't ever pretty for me!)

Goal for the week is to avoid Sonic, I crave vanilla cokes, they are my downfall!!!

Prayer requests- Chance's grandma (his dad's mom) has lost two children in the last two weeks (and healing for the family in dealing with these losses). She is in the hospital, diagnosed with cancer- breast & liver and it has already made it to her bones, they are giving her about a month. Also, Chance's grandfather (mother's dad) fell last friday and has been in the hospital since.

I think it's because my birthday was last week. I hope.
My goal is to workout 3-4 times this week.
My prayer request I will find the energy to get everything done this week that needs to be.
