Biggest Loser - Week 4

We made it!!!
We are 1/3 of the way through our Biggest Loser Challenge. I know some of us have not lost as much weight as we hoped to, but we ARE ALL healthier than we were 4 weeks ago!

Verse for the week:

Galatians 6:9, "Let us NOT BECOME WEARY in doing good, for at the proper time WE WILL REAP A HARVEST IF WE DO NOT GIVE UP."

Lunch Recipe:

Chicken Quesadillas
1 can of white chicken meat
4 whole wheat tortillas
1 cup of 2% cheese
1 cup of your favorite salsa
Dump the chicken and salsa into a pan and cook over medium heat until it simmers. Coat another pan with non-stick spray and add one tortilla. Fill one side of the tortilla with 1/4 of chicken mixture, add 1/4 cup of 2% cheese, and brown both sides. Quick, easy, and the kids love it too!!!

Total WW points - 6

Let's get to it:

I lost 1 pound. Can't tell though, guess I want it to be dramatic.

I did achieve my goal most of the time.

My goal is to bust out my WiiFit and get busy on it.

My prayer request is for my grandfather who is in his final days and my nephew being born in the morning. He giveth and he taketh away.

I lost nothing this past week :(

It was a crazy busy week and I did not meet my goal of working out everyday. It is now my goal for this week.

Well...I am checking in although somewhat reluctantly!! I missed last week while I was out of town but was able to weigh and there was not gain - or loss! Bummer.

Now this week - I no longer have a scale. With my daughter getting married...she moved out and took her scale! Can you believe it? So I have to get one - make that my goal this week but I am 99.9% positive I have gained weight this week. I can feel it in my clothes.

VERY DISCOURAGED - but at home now and ready to get back in the game! Really want to get motivated again this week - for the right reasons....to honor Christ with my life...as well as my body. To be healthy.

Thanks for this group...it kept me thinking this week while I was out of town. Really. I'll give an acurate progress report later this week once I get a scale! :(

I did lose 1 lb this week but I didn't do as well as I should have. I have been eating lots of veggies & fruit but still need to work on my water intake.

I want to encourage you to all rest in Jesus. Don't be so busy that we leave Him behind.

Pray for warmth here in Canada. We are having an exceptionally cold spring.

Stayed the same, and we were camping so that is OK. Did not meet last weeks goal. This week my goal is just to be able to grasp a proper perspective of how I should be eating, not letting myself get so hungry I eat anything. I am feeling like this is much more of an uphill battle than I expected. I am getting a little frustrated with myself. I am truly thankful for all the encouragement. Jackie

Goal last week: check!
lost 1 pound this week--so glad about that especially coming of the Walk aka "The Yummy Trail" where the food is concerned!
Current Goal: along with walking each day be consistant with my weight lifting workout DAILY!
Prayer: I am aking God to CLEARLY lift me from the valley and place me on High Ground and COMPLETELY restore my joy! I am so tired of this heavy spirit that is stealing the abundant life that God has for me!!

Sorry I'm late!

I lost 1/2 pound. I'm just so happy to be seeing the number go down, even if it's just a bit at a time. I did pretty well with my goal, and hope to continue with the water intake, and drink very few calories(I'd rather eat them!), and I didn't have any wine (extra calories) last week. It's my goal to continue this even though my husband is in town and likes to have wine with dinner, too!

Prayer Request: Will power to avoid all of the goodies that come with the end of school and 6th grade "graduation."

Keep praying, girls - I've been feeling it!
